Was out running errands today and saw this as we turned the corner. A little elbow grease and some TLC and it could be such a cute house even though it is on a busy street. I am sure it has some stories to tell.
That reminds me of a house I saw when Sammy & I were out the other day. It was a cute little white house with pink shutters with heart shapes cut out of the shutters and a lacy scalloped type edging along the roof. It looked like a life-sized doll house!
There are quite a few in your neighborhood and this one is at the end of ave H. In the spring of 2011 we will take your little one out for a stroll in the neighborhood and I will bring the camera and we will see how many "doll houses" we can find.
That will be fun. This one that I saw was actually on one of those streets that branch off of 2nd Ave before it turns into Warman Road, at least I think that's where I saw it.
I knew that was the house at the end of H before I saw the comment. It used to be green, and we used to laughingly call it "Blaire's House" as Deidre's friend Blaire always liked it. Nice shot, did you have to stand in the middle of traffic to get it?
It used to be green eh? I think I like the orange. Actually took this photo through the front window of the car as David played dumb not making the right turn on a red even though it was clear and we had someone behind us. I had one shot at it.
