144 of 365 Swinging Time

It is cold, windy and rainy but you can only stay in a 2 bedroom condo with two babies for so long. So we headed to the park for a brief outing and Eva enjoyed the swing. We all got wet feet and the stroller wheels dragged sand and dirt back into the condo but hey we can clean it up.

142 of 365 Eva Drives to Yorkton

On the Road again. Yes the girls are joining us in Yorkton this week and Eva helped drive.
.... okay this was a pit stop aka diaper change and stretch stop in Foam Lake. More like a (in a screaming voice) " LET ME OUT OF MY CAR SEAT!" break.
I know, another Eva photo but I held my camera for all of 30 seconds today. The 3.5 hr drive seemed particularly long this time. :)

I don't often get them together because Eva only sits for about 4 seconds when Norah is on her lap, but after her sleep this afternoon she was in an exceptionally happy and quiet mood and Norah was smiling away at Eva..... so I got the camera ready, exposure set and we sat Eva down and plunked Norah on her lap. It lasted a whole minute. :) They are watching Barney.
Eva is very gentle and loving with Norah.... just bored very quickly. I am looking forward to 6 months from now when Norah starts to get mobile. It could be a whole lot of fun!

138 of 365 Fence

There is a load of work to be done in the back yard starting with repairs and painting of the  fence. There are new paving stones to be laid, new soil and levelling followed by new sod, new window well, and new sidewalk. Then I will see how the perennials fared all this construction. It's a bit of a mess back there right now, but in another 6 weeks it should be worthy of a BBQ and a few guests.

My back hurts just thinking about it..... I am picking up fence paint tomorrow.

So nice to have Mark home for a few days. Eva agrees. Mark hash't been home since Christmas. Seven of eleven of the gang are at our house right now - spending a lot of time in the kitchen. :)

is 2 months old today and we are lovin' her to pieces.
