286/365 Tea Cup

My 96 year old Aunt Jean gave us a set of four of these bone china tea cups as a wedding gift. Little did I imagine as I opened the gift on our wedding day, that 35 years later, almost to the day, our grand daughter would be enjoying a cup of tea in the only surviving cup.

Eva was quite thrilled that Grandma let her have "real" tea in a "real" cup.

It was caffeine free rooibos tea. :) I sent her home with a tea bag which pleased her to pieces.

As they drove off yesterday, she put her window down and yelled "Thanks for the tea Grandma!!"

Made this old grandma heart feel wonderful.
