It's Saturday evening and that means the gang is here for Bible study. David casually mentions that the toilet handle in the downstairs bathroom is broken. Before you know it the guys are off to Rona to get parts. There are three of them in there trying to figure out how to fix it as I take this photo. I am waiting for the gals to arrive.... My husband, the accountant made sure the duct tape was available- just in case. :) We did have an enjoyable evening - covered about 6 verses in Romans... and ate cheesecake. Loving the body of Christ!

Spent a fantastic afternoon at an old saloon in the middle of nowhere - well some place 20 minutes south of Melville. I HAVE to go back. This place is incredible.
Celeste and Fred are getting married and it promises to be one big party. This shoot at the Horseshoe Saloon was just the warm up to an engagement shin dig tonight followed by a wedding on their ranch next August. And I get to photograph it all!!

My Dad died a year ago today. I miss him.
A friend gave me this orchid when Dad died. It bloomed for a month after then stopped blooming and showed nothing for 8 months. In late January of this year it sent forth 5 beautiful blooms. I was hoping it would keep those blooms until today. And it has.

Praying you all had a blessed Easter weekend with family and loved ones. He is Risen!
We headed back to Yorkton this afternoon and soon discovered the remnants of a winter storm that hit there yesterday. It was pretty icy on the second half of our 3.5 hour trip.

Markus stopped by tonight with his dad - the men had church business to figure out. So Markus and I sat on the front steps and I took photos of Markus making silly faces. I commented that I thought he had 100 teeth. He didn't think so!
He counted to make sure and let me know there were 22 of them. :)

95 of 365 Good Neighbours

About every 2 months we get together with our neighbours on a week night. We are both busy on the weekends with family, so when we can swing it, we come home from work, throw a bunch of appetizers in the oven, grab the cheese, some veggies and the wine and get together to catch up on life. We call it an evening by 8:30 because we all have to work the next day. It's a great arrangement.

My plan was to take a photo before all the goodies disappeared... but I kind of forgot....

Norah looks more and more like Allison every day AND her eyes are greyish.... they may be blue. :)
