I did a walk about the yard today since it is a balmy -1C today! Just dreaming about summer, planning my gardens and getting a lot of snow in my boots!

Less than a 10 minute drive from our home is Pineridge Hollow. It is like a mini version of The Silos in Waco Texas. You will find Hildegard's Bakery, a very unique grocery store, beautiful woman clothing store and several other stores with antiques and jewelry as well as the Pineridge Hollow Restaurant where we have eaten twice. In the summer on Saturday mornings they have local talent in the courtyard and in the huge barn there are about 20 local artisans selling their wares. We often head home with fresh vegetables, maybe a candle and some pickled beets. But I cannot resist another bracelet....

I am keeping these ones up on the front porch. Not calling them Christmas lights anymore, just winter wonderland lights. They look so pretty.

A different kind of painting happened today. I am happy to report that all the peach has been removed from our new home. I was very overdo for a new decent paintbrush and this pretty new brush made cutting in a breeze.
