My Calla Lily bloomed!! 

Last year no blooms - probably d/t 5 days in a hot moving truck and late watering. As well,  I did not realize how little sun they would get at the front of the house. This year they get great sun by the pool.  I am so happy to see the trumpets appear. There are five right now.

 187/365 Happy Summer

Lucy was here for the day and we painted. We put together some lego, played "Go Fish", and spent two  hours in the pool too! ...and ate blueberries...and potato chips.

 186/365 It stopped Raining

So we spent the afternoon stocking up on Vit D...and risking my cell phone over 8' of water.

Thankful for beautiful summer days like today.

 184/365 Studio

Five of the grand daughter have been photographed in this little pilgrims outfit we picked up in Plymouth many years ago. With the move, the studio has been in all packaged up and it has been well over a year since I set it up. I miss my big studio in Saskatoon but it was time to photograph Lucy in the outfit before she outgrew it so we set it up yesterday in the kids playroom. It was tight and it was a challenge to get the light right, but we got the shot..... and a whole lot more fun shots. I forgot how much fun it is to photograph the kids in studio - and they LOVE it. We had a FaceTime call from the Texas gang while shooting and they all expressed how much they miss our times in the studio capturing fun poses.
