 I had a photo shoot with a graduate and her family tonight and Eva came along to help me and learn the ropes. She was a great help! We arrived early so I could walk her thru all my favourite spots.

I pulled out my acrylic table I used for product photography and Isla spotted it and wanted to know all about it how to use it. She also wanted to direct her own photo shoot. So here you go - Isla is the artistic director and Grandma the photographer.

 Another very productive Physio appointment so that means Menchies with Grandma and Grandpa!

 One of the best parts of being a Grandma is attending my grandkids school performances. Today Eva played her clarinet in the band and sang in her choir including a solo part. Thankful for these moments. And thankful for my super long lens!

 When you knock it out of the park at therapy, Grandma and Grandpa take you to Menchies.

 So simple. A warm day, a bucket of water, some cups and a 5 yr old = hours of play. 

157/365 Garage Sale This Weekend

 I really don't need this right now, but the up side is my garage is now clean (albeit full of stuff) and my closets and storage room are purged and clean. Let's hope when the sale is over there isn't much left.

 She has been a real trooper and completed her chart so as promised, her own Dragon Touch she has been wanting for a long time!

 Nothing like playing with water on a hot day. 

154/365 Sore Knees

 She took a bad fall off the scooter and really skinned her knees. Sitting in the warm sun this morning helps dry them out and a big glass of chocolate milk helps too.

 We washed, blow dried and curled Isla's hair today and it looked beautiful. She really wanted to go in the hot tub but didn't want her beautiful curls to get wet.... Grandma has a solution for almost everything. ;)

 Playing games on Grandmas phone. Not normally allowed at Grandmas house but I made an exception. Chocolate milk on the other hand is a staple at Grandmas house!

 She didn't want to use them today but we insisted it had to happen before the hot tub so she reluctantly acquiesced. She managed up and down 3 times. So proud of you! I know this is hard work!!

 Norah loves gardening and she planted most of my planters today. I am so thankful for the help but especially thankful for her interest in gardening. The day after this photo I added some dracaena and bacopa and she exclaimed "Grandma you added the "thrillers and the spillers"

 The colours of my Calla Lilies are spectacular and I am enjoying them so much. Just wish I didn't have to cart them in and out every day. Another week and hopefully we will be past any frost threat.

 I am attempting to learn how to make sour dough bread. The first loaf was pretty good, the next one awful and the third one reasonable.....still lots to learn.
