31/365 That Smile

The last day of January. How did that happen??
I love this little one's joyous smile.
Did you know I started this 365 in 2009? That is ten years ago. I took 2013 and 2017 off. :) I probably worked full time those years. :)

30/365 Chocolate Milkshake

Piano lessons and then to Grandma's for supper. For dessert, a big home made chocolate milkshake....with whipping cream....and chocolate chips on the top.
Because this is Grandma's house.
And both girls ate an exceptionally good supper.

29/365 Love My Hairdo

Norah asked the hairdresser to curl her hair after her trim. She was pretty pleased.

28/365 Grand Daughters

Absolutely in love with our youngest grand. We feel so blessed to have all these grand daughters to love.
Pulling this photo from the archives as I didn't pick up the camera today but it was taken in January and I want to be sure this one goes in the 365 book. :)

27/365 Our House

Mark surprised us with a visit tonight. He was just on a military exercise and was passing thru YXE with a 4 hr layover. So that meant a pork roast with all the fixings followed by a new board game.
It's how we roll around here ~ food and games. And he is headed home now.

26/365 Time with My Sweetheart

The only thing I took photos of today was stuff I put on the buy and sell (from last weeks purge of closets) and it all went within 3 hrs except one lamp. It was a productive day.
So instead I will post this photo of the two of us dressed and ready to go to supper. It was such a relaxing, warm week away and not nearly long enough.

Sweet, dear Isla Rose, you are so loved and cherished. When I think of your precarious start I stop and give thanks once again to our Creator who made sure you would live and leave your mark on this world. I know He has great plans for you and for those who love you.

24/365 New Look!

We visited the hair salon after school today and the girls both had their hair trimmed - one significantly.

23/365 Snorts

The girls came for a visit after school. Eva was chasing Isla across the floor and Isla was laughing so hard she was snorting. :)

22/365 Resident Artist

The girls  are always game for painting and three new artists paint/sketch books arrived so we were all happy to get started. Eva started with a self portrait. I do enjoy watching them being creative with paint, clay, sand or whatever we have on hand.
