221/365 Grand Grandpa!

Poor Grandpa - the girls each wanted a piggyback ride but they are getting too big and Grandpa to old for this!!
I do believe this might just be their last piggyback ride from Grandpa.

220/365 Fun Day!

Well, didn't the girls have a blast at the new Children's Museum, today! We will be making this a regular part of our life. The toddler sensory play area is perfect for Isla. Eva loved driving the vehicles in the "underground" discovery mine and Norah could have spent hours climbing to the top and sliding down the crocheted cosmic commotion play structure.
It was 2 hours of non stop play.

219/365 Under The Bridge

Norah though it was pretty cool that we walked under the bridge on our way to the parade on Monday. Grandma thought the lighting and background under the bridge was pretty cool.

218/365 Parade

All set up with snacks and drinks and ready for the Exhibition Parade this morning. The girls quite enjoyed it. Isla was a bit scared of the large horses and the motorcycles but we got grins when Elsa and Cinderella walked by.

217/365 Oh Grandpa!!

Hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma down at River Landing today. Lots of fun! Water park, ice cream, walks on the new bridge. Then home for supper and smore's on the fire pit with new neighbour friends this evening. A grand day!

It is summer when you enjoy bbq chicken, corn on the cob and sundae ice cream on the deck!

215/365 Beautiful Morning

What a perfectly beautiful morning for breakfast on the deck. Feeling blessed. My geranium planters, herb garden and tomatoes have survived the torrential rain, hail and incredible winds we have had in the past month. The neighbourhood is starting to look a lot greener especially since the grass seed planted last fall in the park next door is flourishing.

We visited the Evergreen Water Park today. It was very hot out there!!
