326/365 Beautiful Miss Eva

I didn't pick  up my camera today.
But I do have an arsenal of gorgeous photos from the past two weeks so I played in photoshop today while I sat here guzzling OJ and popping Advil!!

I was trying to remember where I took this photo. Eva is eating ice cream and in her bathing suit but I knew it wasn't by the pool. Then I looked into her big brown eyes and saw a perfect reflection of me taking her photo on the deck. 

So a selfie too!!

322/365 Palm Springs Parker

Since it is just the two of us and no Grandpa pancakes to make, we went out for breakfast. It is a new kind of vacation now so we  decided to check out something other then ihop.
We went to The Parker and had breakfast at Norma's

It was wonderful!! I have delicious photos of my "Upstream Eggs Benedict".
Then we spent an hour walking the grounds of the Parker and admiring the incredibly eclectic 1960's decor and beautifully kept gardens. Another feast but this one for the photographer me.  I could do a book on just the photos from this mornings visit.

But I chose this one. A row of unique bottles on a ledge in the main foyer.

321/365 Pool

Last day with all of us here so a pool photo with the gang. Took the kids to the airport tonight. Eva is home sick (so she says) but I know her parents could have put up with a few more weeks of heat and sun. :) We did have a blast these past two weeks - longest holiday we have ever had with the girls - spoiled them all royally!!

320/365 Hurry Up Grandma!

We did a lot of walking today but we saw a lot of very interesting wild life at the Living Zoo.  This photo captures the day for me because it was all about giving the little girls a fun experience of life in the desert. And I love the hat!
I do have about 20 more great photos of the animals, the girls and the scenery that will go in their book.

David and I went for a walk this morning - just the two of us and my camera. :)
I took this photo of the fountain just outside our condo. I was challenging myself today to take a photo that was NOT of the grandkids. :)

I know the 365 seems to be all grandkids, but our days are filled with keeping them busy so they are asleep by 7:30 pm. Problem is so are we!!
