131 of 365 Ice Cream

Eva is such a good little eater. Tonight she had spinach salad then pork roast, potatoes and carrots. She ate it all. She loves everything you put in front of her. So she got an ice cream cone for dessert. Half way through she handed it to us and said "all done" .
She keeps us smiling!

130 of 365 Miss Norah

The girls are visiting this week. I did a photo shoot of 600 people today at a school. I was up on a cherry picker looking down - maybe 30/40 ft in the air. It was a one man gadget so I had to operate it myself. Quite an experience. It wasn't on my bucket list at all to be in the air IN a bucket, but it was the only way to get all those faces. :) I actually had fun! It turned out very well but I can't publish that photo on the web so today's 365 is of Miss Norah watching her mommy. She is starting to smile so it was nice to capture a real hearty one.

129 of 365 House Fire

Arrived home from work to a fully involved house fire up the street. no one was hurt, the dog made it out but the home is destroyed. A photo of Saskatoon's finest and bravest at work. Sure glad that wasn't my son on that iffy roof fighting that fire. Wait, that is exactly what my son does. I tried to convince him to be an engineer but it didn't work.

I am working at the Health Region for a few days so the 365 might be a tad lame.

Just put in another 6 + hour day on the highway but we are home and ready to go back to work.

Enjoyed a little indulgence at The Olive Garden in Winnipeg after 6 hours in the car. Can't remember what it is called. Another long day of driving tomorrow. Wish we had an Olive Garden in Saskatoon. Only took a few photos today.

We gather for weddings and funerals. This time it is the funeral of David's father and the brothers are together.  They will visit, smoke a cigar, drink scotch and then get on the piano and pull out the guitars.

On the road again. Plucked Mark off the battle field in Shilo Manitoba on exercises with the reserves. He is either in a fireman's uniform or an army uniform.
We are on our way to David's fathers funeral in Ontario. A few long days ahead of us.

David's father passed away and our neighbour brought over a beautiful bouquets of roses and carnations. Feeling blessed.
