313 of 365 Coffee Press
Today, like most these days, I left for work in the dark and came home in the dark. And like most evenings I am dog tired .... so outdoor photography is limited and besides yesterday you saw the moon. I went hunting with the macro lens. Believe it or not I found something in my house I have not yet photographed. At least I am pretty sure I haven't. Let me know if I am wrong.

312 of 365 Full Moon (almost)
Noticed it on the way home from work tonight. I haven't grabbed a full moon shot in a while. Besides I was plum out of ideas tonight and I need to get to bed and catch up on sleep.
But the moon always amazes me anew every time I photograph it.

311 of 365 Bible Study Readers
When Leah pulled out her funky readers we all oohed. Very cool Leah!
But when Jean Guy arrived 30 minutes later and pulled out his almost identical readers we all broke into laughter.
I'm not sure if it was the glasses on Jean Guy (a rough, tough tiler) or that he and Leah had almost identical funky glasses. But Jean Guy laughed along with us.
Sometimes on Monday nights I am so very tired after a long day at work that I really do not want to host people at our home. I just want to go to bed. But by 9:30 I am revived and so very thankful for the opportunity to experience Him anew and see God moving in all our lives.
It is also such a blessing to hear someone say... "I needed this tonight"

310 of 365 First Snow
Came downstairs in the dark this am to see a blanket of bright, white snow on the back deck. My first thoughts were how beautifully peaceful it was - so crisp and clean and soft. But those brief momentary pleasures were quickly followed by the thought of four months of shoveling the stuff at 7am every morning and at 5 pm many evenings. Big SIGH....... and minus 40 degree temps.
So I dug out my boots, my down filled winter jacket and my gloves, grabbed the camera and the 50 mm prime and headed out to enjoy the first snowfall.

306 of 365 Eva's Bath
This girl is always happy and ALWAYS offers me a big smile when the camera comes out.
I know this is the third photo of Eva in a row.... but she is living at our house this week along with her parents, while their furnace is fixed.... you know, kinda an extension of Hawaii. Except it is a whole lot colder. Especially at Eva's house.

Eva got her own chocolate chip cookie today.
She ate the whole thing.
She has now eaten every food type except honey.
And maybe sushi....did we give her sushi in Hawaii?
