I had a family photos session today and this 4 (AND ONE HALF) year old was full of wonderful expressions. He even danced for me. I was in stitches the whole time.

210/365 Theatre in the Park

The best part about Theatre in the Park was the giant blanket that was waving overtop of everyone The kids enjoyed that.  A beautiful evening to be out with neighbours.

The grand finale of the week was almost 3 hours at Kinsmen checking out all the rides (some of them twice) followed by milkshakes at pink Cadillac.

206/365 Rain Day

Cold and rainy today so that means pj's all day and reading "The Happy Hollisters" and watching the Wizard of Oz, eating popcorn ....since we talked a lot about tornadoes last evening and collected hail off the deck. That was exciting!!

We are loving the heat and opportunity to play with water in the backyard but I am loving the air conditioning more!

Norah is our Bocci Ball queen! Who knew they would come in handy keeping your towel in place. Smart girl!

203/365 My Girls

The house is a disaster, makeup and sleep are elusive (Isla loves to call me every 20 minutes or so at night), but they are well fed, hair and teeth brushed and we keep busy in the back yard or playing card games and colouring. First full day down and four more to go.

202/365 Strong Girl

I have been MIA for a week now looking after the three grands 24/7 as their parents attended a pastors conference in Orlando. There was no time for computer, facebook, barely a shower. The 2 year old kept me on my toes!! But we handed them off late Friday evening and I actually slept 7 hours straight. Today I am getting some work done and playing catchup on the 365 with the few photos I did manage to take this week. 
This strong girl was one of my biggest helpers this week. Her real strength is in her sweet, kind and helpful nature and her love and care of her two sisters.

We went down to the river to watch the dragon boat races this morning. And what a perfect morning too! it looked like everyone was having great fun.

We broke out the Slip n Slide today! It was not quite hot enough but they seemed to have a good time. Isla was having nothing of it - that water was too cold.

These six girls fill our lives with such joy that our hearts are bursting with love.

It was instant love again when these four spotted each other Thursday evening and they were inseparable for the 6 days they had together. No fights, no arguments, just lots of laughs, make believe, card games, swimming, playing and just plain fun!! Best friend forever!
I wish they lived closer together.
