211/365 Happy Birthday Mark
Happy Birthday Mark. Thirty-Five years ago I was thrilled to hold a little bundle like this. It seems like yesterday. It won't be long before you will be getting hand written birthday cards from Lucy.

210/365 Bounty
This is a delicious time of the year and I love handing these very fresh, organic carrots to the grands as a snack. They gobble them up!

207/365 Hashamals
Grandma got an education on Hatchimals today. We had a busy day with playing, errands, library camp time and finally ice cream cones and Hatchimals. Got to love summer. These two didn't stop giggling all day. :)

206/365 Sunflower
Our organic fresh vegetable delivery from Our Farm has been wonderful and we are enjoying every fresh bite. For the past two weeks the delivery has included a sunflower and they sure brighten up my kitchen.

205/365 Hosta Blooms
Several of my hosta are blooming! Despite constant winds whipping them around and dust from brick work and three weeks of grading the park beside us, they are doing quite well. I will be glad when we no longer live in a constant construction zone. My garden will too.

200/365 In the Game
We were paying cards today - Scum - the girls favourite game. Isla of course wanted to be part of it. She kept saying "pass". :) So I have designated a deck of cards as Isla's - she gets to do whatever she wants with them while we are playing. Mostly she prefers to grab the cards out of my hand and throw them down. so Grandma holds two separate hands - the real one and the Isla one.

193/365 Driveway
So yesterday the back patio was put back together and today the driveway is being repaired. This driveway work is backbreaking - only for young twenty somethings putting themselves thru University. It will be downright boring around here when all these trades finally disappear.

192/365 Goats Beard
I planted this last fall and it is doing wonderfully - more them doubled in size. It seems to like this east garden with the Hostas.

188/365 Hikers
The B.C. girls left this morning. I am going to miss having these four girls around and watching them have such a good time together. It didn't matter what we did, they enjoyed doing it together and wanted to spend as much time together as they could.
This photo is from our walk in the swale last week (I didn't pick up the camera today). We only picked up one tick on this hike thru tall grasses. :)

186/365 Scrapbookers
This was a project they all really enjoyed. We were at it most of the day with just a two hour break to attend Library Book Camp and have a picnic lunch on the lawn.
They each decorated 12 pages using 14 photos of family and cousins.
We will have to repeat this next year.
