317/365 Exploring
We went exploring the NE Swale today - this will be right outside our back door next year and we plan to spend a lot of time exploring all the trails in there. We saw deer prints too. We hope to break ground next week.....just waiting on the City engineer to approve the plans. So if you know a City engineer, tell him to get those plans off his desk and approved! We would like to take advantage of this glorious weather.

312/265 Girlfriends
Pulling from the archives because I rarely pick up my camera the days I am working the "other" job . This one is from last August. I just finished putting all the keepers from last August into a family get together memory book. This was one of my favorites from our day at the Forestry Farm Zoo.

310/365 Hard Worker
The girls were over yesterday afternoon helping with raking the lawn. This little one worked so hard - she must have filled a large orange bag all by herself. Love it!! And what style - check out the bracelet under those garden gloves. :)
Eva was a big help too but once she found the sidewalk chalk she was busy creating. She designed this whole picture - the Canadian flag flying high in the sky, the green grass and three coloured flowers. I love how she incorporated the line in the driveway into her horizon. She worked on it for about 45 minutes.

309/365 Grandma/Eva date
We had the whole day together! That meant a trip to Menchies!
Eva is talking with Uncle Mark on the phone. She wanted to know all about why we wear a poppy so our family war historian spent 15 minutes explaining some military history and reciting In Flanders Field to her. She seemed very interested!
We also visited the new toy store in town and picked up a sketch book and some sparkle gel pens. A trip to the Dollar store for beading supplies rounded out the day.
