303/365 Our new back yard

It is official. We are moving. We should break ground in a couple of weeks and next July this will be our new back yard view.

Just because we didn't have enough stress in our lives.....

This art class that Eva is attending is the best! They learn about an artist and his/her style and then make several projects in that style. Eva is learning so much - currently studying Norman Rockwell.

One of the pluses of almost full time grandparenthood these past 4 weeks has been taking the girls to all their activities and getting some photos of them for their memory book.

Finally opened these up and got them flying - girls had a blast!

We are ready for tomorrow's feast! The girls made pumpkin cheesecake desserts and a pecan pie with grandma while grandpa made a triple batch of potatoes. The turkey is thawing in the fridge. We are ready!

Two big sisters were so very excited to see baby Isla today! It has been a long week for them.
It will be a several weeks before they can hold her.

We did a little carving today because there was a pumpkin on my kitchen table and that's what you do with a pumpkin!
Norah's design but the next pumpkin has to be Eva's - she says so.

276/365 Reading!

Eva has discovered a love of reading and is now reading books to Norah. I am amazed at how fast she is picking it up now that she can read most of the words. 

Grandma has rediscovered the library and story time!

It's been a long time since I hung out at the library.We brought home 32 books.
