We are home but I haven't had time to pick up my camera today - so a filler from last week.

From hot sun to this. Winter storms, cancelled flights, unexpected hotel stays and long, long line ups.
It was just more adventure for the little ones. :)

This pretty much captures the day. Perfect way to spend American Thanksgiving.

Would much rather spend 30 C without the minus sign in front of it but seems we will be heading into minus country tomorrow.

Not looking forward to finding the car in the airport parking lot with just a couple of sweaters on. Thankful I have my remote start.

This is as close to the crowds of Black Friday shopping that I want to be. Allison and I spent a couple of hours at Forever 21 today pre Black Friday crowds. We had the place to ourselves. :) No lineups for the change rooms!!

Well didn't we have fun today. We spent a several hours at the Children's Discovery Museum. Eva loved being a vet and spent a good chunk of time examining the animals and giving them shots. She kept copious notes of course.

314 Last Remnant

A last remnant of summer in my back yard. I took this photo on Saturday before the deep freeze hit today. That is snow in the background.
I am so thankful for heated seats and a heated steering wheel on my way to work at 7:30 am and home at 6 pm. Minus 11C and it will only get colder.

I find it quite amusing that without ever seeing me at my desk working, these little girls hop up into my chair, pick up the phone and look like they actually know what they are doing.
And of course never go to work without Kristoff!

I found so many wonderful gates to yards in the old part of St Augustine.
Some date back over 1-- years I am sure. Loved them all.

305/365 Vast Ocean

The morning we left St Augustine, the temperatures dropped by 20 degrees to 8 C and the wind stirred up quite a storm over the Atlantic. I took this at about 8 am, just after sunrise. It was vicious out there.
