149/365 Wet Fun

Yup we have had a lot of rain in the past few weeks and these kids are sure enjoying it.
I for one will not be taking the grands on these swings for a few weeks. Norah would have way to much fun here.

145/365 Tulips

I was pretty excited to see these yellow tulips pop up in the front garden. Finally, a couple of warm days where the temps did not drop below freezing at night followed by warm rain and spring was in full gear. It is wonderful and I am very thankful for every blossom out there... and even all that pollen on my deck table that needs wiping off every day.

143/365 My Sweetie Pie

This little one is always so happy. Life for Miss Norah is grand and she makes sure to enjoy it to the fullest- always smiling and laughing.
Just make sure she has a life jacket on her if you take her swimming. She moves very fast and has no fear.

142/365 Swimming

It is quite the feat to get all four of them sitting together for more then 3 seconds.

Another busy day building wonderful childhood memories!

140/365 The Grands!

The ONE and ONLY photo of me and the grands.
I must try to remedy that.

139/365 The Pear

I have waited a long time to make this photograph. I purchased the outfit over a year ago when we visited a museum in Plymouth Massachusetts. The photo is inspired by the work of Bill Gekas. I have admired his photos of his daughter for some time. His lighting and the warmth of his photos has always intrigued me. Since I have set the studio up in the garage this weekend and since my size 5-6 grand daughter is visiting, I thought it was time.

I am very pleased with my first go at this. It was very difficult to choose just one, there were so many I loved. Perhaps I will post more on my regular blog. What do you think?

There is a little spring in the house. Our friend Ken brought me some flowers yesterday and I am thoroughly enjoying them.

133/365 Dining Room

I love the way the late afternoon sun falls across my dining room table.

Not too keen on how it shows all the dust on the table or the grands fingerprints on the glass of my french doors though.

132/365 Ladybug Woes

"Leave me alone! It's been a rough winter"

"Yeah, I get ya. We are all a little fed up. It's been a rough week too and I feel like you look!
I think maybe I am finally turning the corner on this chest, sinus, throat infection thingy. Haven't had a decent sleep in a week. But hey my back doesn't look as bad as yours. You need an appointment at the body shop Miss ladybug. Let's hope we are both feeling better very soon!"

I went looking for some life in the back yard tonight. ( you didn't know this but you have been getting filler shots for almost a week since I have been sick)
It took a macro lens to find any life out there. And the life looked as beat up as I feel.
This too shall pass.

124/365 Hamburger

Makes me think spring is really here and summer might just show up. But I might be fooling myself.
