btw - she is sleeping in the same bed her mom slept in and her mom picked out those flannel sheets - it seems like yesterday, but I suppose it was a lot longer ago then that.

David and I have been 'fasting' from all grains - bread, cereals etc for the past month.
But that is over now.
I bought this today.... and I ate a chunk of it in the car on the way home.
Never shop hungry.

I will carry on with the fruit theme as it works well for me because quite frankly, my work life and evening commitments are not allowing a whole lot of creativity or time of late.

I love these little guys! They were "on sale" this past week for $2.50 a basket. That turned out to be about 8 cents each!

I am really tired of the dark morning, minus twenty something, gas fumed filled, bumper to bumper commute every morning.
I am tired of winter.
Cold
Relentless
Unforgiving
Dark
Dirty white
Icy
Winter

On the other hand I don't take the bus.
I have remote start and heated seats.
And since a good part of my work days involves several car rides about the city, I am thankful for these blessings.

It is Friday.... I needed to go looking for something remotely tropical to photograph after work tonight because there was no way I was going to sit outside for 30 minutes trying to get another frozen bubble!!

I found it in the bathroom.

Getting there.
Changed the formula a little - but more importantly there was no wind at all today and the sun was setting beautifully. I would say that perhaps it could have been a little colder, but my fingers said it was plenty cold enough.

My goal is to have a bubble thicker so when it freezes it breaks up rather than shatters but until then I am liking these winter bubbles.

My camera is in need of a good cleaning.... bubble residue making buttons stick. :(
