Since Miss Eva was likely my most photographed subject this year, it is appropriate that she be number 365.
Love this little sweetheart.

Came by for a brief visit, some hugs and a whole bunch of kisses.
Grandpa chased her around the living-room and hall.

362 of 365 Thoughtful Friends
Our good friend Ken brought me these for Christmas. I love them and have so enjoyed them for the past week. Flowers are calm beauty amidst the craziness of life.

361 of 365 Christmas Spirit
David and I went for a walk this evening. A short walk. I was wishing I had grabbed my wide angle lens though but I sure wasn't going back for it. At minus 37 wind chills out there we made it a quick walk. We do appreciate this wonderful Christmas display set to music.
I wonder what his December electrical bill is like.

360 of 365 Hoar Frost
It was a cold crisp morning out there at minus 26C but the hoar frost on the trees was just beautiful!

Our son Paul made this angel in grade 3.
That was 19 years ago.
This angel is on our mantle every Christmas.

354 of 365 Good News of Great Joy
'And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you: he is Christ the Lord. This will be the sign to you: You will find the baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on
whom his favour rests." Luke 2:8-14

353 of 365 Celebration
Most of the Bible Study/Community Group made it for an evening of feasting, singing Christmas carols, reading His Word and marvelling in our Saviour. It was a special evening.

352 of 365 Baking
√ Quiche for Christmas morning
√ Butter tarts for as long as they last.
√ Carmel chocolate saltines for as long as they last. (they didn't make the photo)
Tomorrow I make home made meatballs. I have to write that here so I will actually get the darn things done. They take forever but store bought ones are just not the same as mine.

351 of 365 Christmas Preparations
√ The stockings have been hung by the chimney with care...
Tomorrow I make a quiche and butter tarts... if I can throw this cold that is coming on!
Our Christmas Eve this year will be this Friday night the 21st. Christmas day festivities will take place here on the 22nd. We are celebrating early because we have a fireman in the family and, well, he will be working and ready to protect you on the 25th. Very thankful he is willing to drive a day here and a day back on snowy roads in order to be with us for 2 days. Looking forward to some family down time with most of the gang. Still missing our west coast family.

350 of 365 We Survived
We all actually had a great time and no one missed their mama although Norah woke at 2:30 am and sat on my lap for half an hour looking around the room with a look on her face that said. "Where the heck am I!!"

345 of 365 Mandarins
Orange you glad it's Christmas.....
These used to be a special Christmas treat when I was a kid. My Mom would buy one maybe two boxes for our family of nine and then that was it. We would get so excited to find one in the toe of our Christmas stocking. Now they seem to be on the shopping list every week.

344 of 365 Egg Nog & Antipasto
....and now for something completely different that does not involve Christmas lights!
My light tent arrived last week and today I finally had time to put it together. It took all of 5 minutes. Love it!
And look what arrived from my sweetheart as I was just finishing the set up....
What a guy!
Perfect timeing!

This is Alice. She is a beautiful, gentle, and absolutely lovely 3 year old and I could have photographed her for hours.
I had two family shoots today and there are sooo many great shots.
But I do have to go to bed now......

342 of 365 Boston Pizza
Took the kids out for supper tonight. It has been a long week for Allison and she needed to get out of the house. The girls were pretty antsy though so Grandpa and I took turns eating (and playing and distracting and walking and well you know.... )
But oh we love seeing them. :)

341 of 365 Sam
is 16 months and he doesn't stop moving...... ever.
But what a lot of fun.... he had me in stitches.
And I got a couple of hugs. I had forgotten just how sweet hugs from little boys are....sigh.
I photographed Sam and his family last summer.

337 of 365 Sad Miss Eva
I babysat Eva this am while Mom and Dad took Norah to the walk in. She has something odd going on in her chest.
Eva didn't cry or complain but I could tell she sure missed her mama. She was one sad little girl all am. Here she is talking to Mom and Dad on the phone. She called Grandpa too.

336 of 365 Winter Wonderland
Only 30 more days of 365 (or 31, I suppose).
We babysat today and among many activities of the day we took the girls on a sleigh ride. They loved it although Norah fell asleep a few minutes into it.
This is my little elf....who doesn't pose for Grandma anymore.
