or Happy Reformation Day!
Eva dressed up as a strawberry and here she is with 2 of her friends who were princesses.
It was a short night. She didn't quite get the whole thing and wasn't too interested in her few candies.
Which is fine by me.

304 of 365 Shopping
The new Carters/Osh Kosh opened their doors in Saskatoon today and so Allison and I had to go check it out. I love their clothes - good quality, great styes and reasonable prices. Couldn't resist this sweater on Eva so I got it for her for Christmas. It is just so Eva! :)
Loved it so much I bought one for her older cousin too. Something warm and cosy for the West Coast chilly damp weather.
Thanks for modelling it for us Eva.
Look Grandma - one hand. Miss Norah is getting so much stronger and she so wants to keep up with Eva.

303 of 365 Shoppin'
I have the BEST time grocery shopping with Eva. She even makes shopping at "StupidStore" (aka SuperStore) so very enjoyable. I don't usually sing out loud in public, but with Miss Eva we belt it out.... ah, ah, ah, ah let's go fly a kite, up to the highest heights. Let's go fly a kite and send it souring. Up to the atmosphere. Up where the air is clear. Let's go, fly a kite.
Love you Miss Eva!

302 of 365 Burned Out!
Plumb out of ideas tonight. You'd think I shot a wedding yesterday or something. But yeah, kind of feeling completely drained of all inspiration and creativity.
This 365 is dragging. This is my third year and quite frankly I do not want to do it again. So I have some ideas for changing it up while still posting a photo for you guys every day.
That must be why I am anxious to finish this year up and move onto something different.
This too shall pass.
On another note, I have heard from people that they are having trouble leaving a comment....if you have tried but it just didn't work and you gave up, let me know by clicking on the "contact me" above. I would appreciate that very much. Perhaps I can figure out what the problem might be. Thanks.
Okays... todays photo.

Soon the bells will start

295 of 365 Fall
It is a beautiful time of year. I am thankful for blue skies, colourful leaves, crisp air with cool evenings.
The furnace has been on. There is snow in the forecast. Time is getting away on me again. In 71 days it will be 2013. Trying to take every moment captive to His glory.

293 of 365 Stylish Miss Eva
If I had half the style that my 2 yr old grand daughter has, I would have it made!
I think I am going to have to get back at scrapbooking with photos like these. :)

292 of 365 All Packed
The car is packed full, my photos/art off the walls, the floors shining and bathrooms sparkling, appliances clean and my hands are a mess!
One last photo of the condo before we head home tomorrow first thing.
Wishing I could just transport it back to Saskatoon - loved outfitting it last winter. Perhaps one day we will really downsize for good.

291 of 365 Farewell Yorkton
We are leaving Yorkton. After almost a year of commuting and being apart from one another every week, David was offered a great position with a new company in Saskatoon and now his drive to work will be about 12 minutes instead of 3.5 hours. While this is a great career move and I am thrilled to have him home again, we will miss the great people in Yorkton and our little condo get away (although I seemed to only get there one week every 2 months).
So we are cleaning out the condo today and having a last evening meal by candlelight watching Family Feud and Big Bag Theory. :) Only one more highway drive home with a car load on Friday.
Life seems to be full of changes/challenges but we are blessed beyond measure with the Lord's continual provision for us.

289 of 365 Happy Birthday Harold
My firstborn turned 31 today. Has it really been that many years?
Harold does not usually like his photo taken but he was obliging tonight.
I had about 10 of THE cutest photos of Norah from today (she turned 7 months). I had her sitting in her little chair in natural light grinning and playing with her feet. ADORABLE!
But it seems my card reader (which has given me grief since I purchased it 6 months ago) messed with my 16 Gb card and removed all the photos and corrupted the card. So this evening cost me one card reader and one 16Gb compact Flash. I am not impressed! Then in my efforts to recover the photos of Norah I downloaded a program that messed with my computer. The upshot was 2 hours of wasted time on top of the $ loss. A glass of wine is helping as I type. It has been a long day. My sweetheart is out of town and I am missing him.
On the positive side I delivered a wedding album and two huge canvases to customers today and they were all thrilled - which pleases me no end. Big sigh of relief because I want happy customers right? And it always feels good when my hard work pays off. Five more photo sessions to finish up on and my summer 2012 is done.
still with me? I know this is getting way too long. I am venting.
So today's 365 is a photo of Harold and I think, given it is his birthday today, that it is an appropriate 365. Here he is in the kitchen throwing his lunch together before heading out to do the night shift. I had one shot at the photo and then he was gone. :)

282 of 365 Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!
I suppose I should be posting a photo of turkey, but since I am in Low country I will post a photo of our feast - oysters (and shrimp, and fish and hush puppies...)
I only took a few photos today. When visiting my sister there is always a visit to the outlet mall and today was it! I couldn't resist 60% off at Talbots and left room in the suitcase for just this event. So very few photos. But we did stop for a great lunch at Skull Creek Boathouse ~ Hilton Head on the way home and had fabulous sea food.
Hush Puppies btw are deep fried corn dough and sinfully delicious! Especially smeared with honey butter.

278 of 365 Plymouth Plantation
What a fabulous 4 hours we spent today at the Plymouth Plantation. This presentation was so well done and the period characters were very real and very knowledgable. I am sure David asked over 50 questions including questions about their Geneva Bible - and they answered them all without a blink of the eye.
When asked where we were from they were very curious as to why we spoke english so well and were aware of Canadian history (as brief as it was in 1627). A very educational day. I had trouble choosing just one again today.

277 of 365 Foggy Morning
It has been foggy and rainy all day.... and I am missing home.
Took this photos while strolling the streets of Plymouth, MA today. We took a tour and gained some real insight into the arrival of the pilgrims and their hardships. We also toured a 55 yr old replica of the Mayflower. On board were some fabulous actors that answered all of our numerous questions in period character. I got some incredible photos today. If I weren't falling asleep at the laptop I would be posting them to the regular blog. Perhaps tomorrow am....
It was hard to choose - I had about 6 favourites today.
Her are a couple of photos from out tour of the Mayflower today - it is an replica of the Mayflower made in 1955 but very impressive nonetheless. Here are two actors in period costume and character who were very informative and made me feel that I was actually on the Mayflower in 1620
