I love this wine holder. I love it's sleek lines - especially on the floor with the late afternoon sun streaming in the window. Our son and daughter-in-law gave it to us Christmas 2009.

58 of 365 Ceramic Guy

David and I saw this end table/stool/ piece of art when outfitting the Yorkton condo. We weren't sure what he was but we liked him and he was a reasonable price. We still don't know what he is but right now he sits beside a chair. I told David we would have to get an ivy and put it on top of him so he would have hair. But David's suggested I just turn him upside down on the shag carpet and give him an afro.
So no photographic feat tonight. Just our yet unnamed ceramic guy with an afro.

Well we are home (sort of) and what better homecoming then our Miss Eva. She was over this afternoon briefly, before we took off again.....for Yorkton. yes we were home for all of 15 hours, but you can get a lot done in 15 hours - like 2 loads of laundry. :)
We sure love this little one and are anxious for the arrival of her sister.

We went for a brief walk at Whitty's Lagoon before heading home. Had time for just a few photos. I certainly want to come back with the tripod and about 2 hours to spare. Next trip.
WE are now sitting in the Calgary airport and Lord willing our plane will land safely in Saskatoon despite storm reports. Almost home. :) Wearing sandals and a windbreaker. :)

Saw this little flower as we were heading out of our B&B for the day.  I don't know it's name. It has rained all day today. The air is fresh but it is that cold damp Victoria air that really chills you. However nothing like the snow storm we will be flying into tomorrow night.

We are in Victoria, B.C. to visit my Mom as well as our son and daughter in law and our grand-daughter. It is much cooler here. We are acclimatizing on the way home. If you ever come to Victoria and want a fabulous B&B/Hotel located near downtown and Beacon Hill Park, I highly recommend Abigail's. We have been treated royally. Got in at 1 am this morning.

The runner up photo of the day though was the guys shirtless in the kitchen doing the dishes while Linda and I watched and finished off the wine. :) THIS is vacation land.

Yes, this is one of those "oh no it is 10 pm and I haven't got a 365 shot yet" photos. 

Very unlike yesterdays shot that took two people and 45 minutes to do. 

I have been on line trying to book a car rental. You would think it should take maybe 15 minutes but it was well over an hour - only to find there are no cars available in Maui this week. Except Thrifty's - they want $400 for 2 days of rental - not very thrifty in my books.

hmmm do I know anyone living in Maui that would like to pick us up at the airport?

It has been a long, but productive week - well, productive at work. I was able to accomplish quite a bit this week and that feels really great!

But, alas,  my sweetheart has been away all week. I don't sleep when he is gone.
Now I have a sinus cold. Yuck - I haven't had a cold in over a year.

All will be well once again. I bought OJ to drink tonight and Lord willing my love will be home tomorrow night.

I am feeling a little disgruntled with the fact that it is February. I don't know where 2011 went and January is just a momentary flash in my life. Here it is February. Life, please slow down. I can't get it all done!
And this also means I have t think when numbering my photos now because they no longer line up nicely with the date. Dang!
