We left Coeur d'Alene, Idaho early this am and headed to the Port Angeles Ferry in Washington. Nice highways. Long drive. Took the ferry back to Victoria - nice to be back in Canada.

This is why we stay at B&B's

Because Mr. Ramada and Mr. Best Western don't personally cook us a gormet breakfast and then wash the car for us before we head out on our next day!
Panorama is beautiful and if you are looking for a great B&B with wonderful hosts (Phil and Clair)and fantabulous food stay at Earl Greys B&B
I will be posting more photos of our brief stay in Panorama on the reg blog soon but right now I am stugging with this slow pc of my sweethearts. I think I need to by him a Mac Book Pro - what dya think?

I stopped in at a new flower shop today. It is called Essence floral design and it is on 7th ave at Princess. Very cool stuff in there but don't buy the big lime green vase that sits on the floor because I want it.
I did buy this funky little vase and tonight I cut a few flowers from the garden to put in it.

Rain, fog...we seem to be having quite the weather systems this summer.

If you were anywhere near downtown at 4 pm today then you were caught in that huge downpour.
I thought you would like to see just what that storm system looked like from Warman.

The skies just opened up and poured. I drove through it about 15 minutes after this shot.
My wipers had a little aerobic workout.

Unusually but beautifully foggy on the way to work this morning.

Shot this with my Canon Powershot while crossing the Circle Drive bridge.
While wishing I had my 5D mark II, a tripod, a place to pull over and a boss who wasn't expecting me in 10 minutes.

One of the best decisions we ever made (post kids and dog) was to put in maple flooring. Loving it just as much today as when it was installed over 2 years ago.

Hoping to get some photos of the Northern Lights tomorrow night ..... if I can wait up until it is dark.

I had two photo shoots today.
One was a big family celebration in the country filled with outdoor fun and games and family photos.

The other was a stagette filled with very young glamorous and wildly crazy beautiful women  also playing games..... and laughing hysterically! It was actually a whole lot of fun but I think it didn't really get going until us grandparents left.

Let's just say things have changed a tad since my wedding showers 31 years ago. :)
