330/365 My Guys
I had a great photo of a gerber daisy I was planning on uploading, but this photo brings me much more joy.
My sweetheart with two of our sons after a round of golf.
Love it!
So, so happy to have Mark home for a few days.

329/365 Braoadway Cafe
My first time here.
And I plan to return.
Soon!
I hear their breakfasts are fabulous!!!
I am loving the atmosphere the most though.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance. (Psalm 16:6)

328/365 Begonia
Oh you know it has been a looong day when the 365 ends up being a flower from the garden. And one that has been beaten from the rain no less. Yet it doesn't look near as weary as I do tonight. :)
You crown the year with a bountiful harvest;
even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.
The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture,
and the hillsides blossom with joy.
The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep,
and the valleys are carpeted with grain.
They all shout and sing for joy! (Psalm 65:11-13)

327/365 Husband and Wife
A couple of books floating around at Bible study tonight. Thanks to Ken for his thoughtfulness. And to Greg and Tracey for providing the books as subjects.
And to my husband for providing the idea to his very tired wife who needed to take her 327th photo.
And to my husband for providing the idea to his very tired wife who needed to take her 327th photo.
So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. (Ephesians 5:33)

326/365 Beautiful Girl
I did a photo shoot of eight beautiful children today. They were well behaved and, well, just lovely to work with.
And I had fun too!
And I had fun too!
Today's verse:
And Jesus took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. (Mark 10:16)

325/365 The Light of Morning
Took this on a very early drive... a tee off time of 0715 in Wakaw. What an incredibly beautiful morning. What a wonderful warm, sunny day on the lake with friends.
The Last Words of David...
The God of Israel spoke,
the Rock of Israel said to me:
"When one rules over men in righteousness,
when he rules in the fear of God,
he is like the light of morning at sunrise
on a cloudless morning,
like the brightness after rain
that brings the grass from the earth."
Is not my house right with God?
Has he not made with me an everlasting covenant,
arranged and secured in every part?
Will he not bring to fruition my salvation
and grant me my every desire?
2 Samual:3-5

324/365 Fly
After 324 days I think I am loosing inspiration here.
And the Lord did as Moses asked and caused the swarms of flies to disappear from Pharaoh, his officials, and his people. Not a single fly remained. But Pharaoh again became stubborn and refused to let the people go. Exodus 8:31-32

323/365 Hail
We were pummeled again. I am wondering where all this rain is coming from and where it will go....and then the hail .... and all this water......
He hurls down his hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
Who can withstand his icy blast?
He sends his word and melts them;
he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow. (Psalm 147:17-18)

322/365 Ginger Snap
My child, eat honey, for it is good,
and the honeycomb is sweet to the taste.
In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul.
If you find it, you will have a bright future,
and your hopes will not be cut short. (Proverbs 24:13-14)

321/365 Harvest
Ahhhh corn on the cob. Looking forward to August when the local corn will be ready.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:17-18

320/365 Morning Dew
We went for an early morning bike ride and when we got home at 7am the sun was shining across the morning dew. I took this photo into the morning sun.
By his knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth,
and the dew settles beneath the night sky. Proverbs 3:20
(which I thought appropriate for my 320th shot)

319/365 Brown Eyes
Had the gang for lunch after church today.
This little guy was just too cute. It is nice to take photos of little people now and then. I just don't have enough of them around me yet... but that's changing. I can think of one that will get photographed a whole lot when she finally arrives.
"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." Luke 18:16-17

318/365 Printer
My good old, trusty HP Photosmart 8450 stopped working today. It was trying really hard, but it just can't pull the paper anymore and I finally gave up trying to 'fix' it when the 18th piece of paper hit the recycling box.
I love this printer. It has served us well printing numerous excellent photos over the years as well as school reports, assignments, papers and all the stuff home schoolers use. It has printed my recipe's, daily devotions and much music and overheads for church. It has worked hard.
But it is time for a new one.
Today's scripture.....
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21

317/365 River
Rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full. Then the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea. Everything is wearisome beyond description. No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied. No matter how much we hear, we are not content. (Ecclesiates 1:6-8)
Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. 14 God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad. (Ecclesiates 12:16)

314/365 Hosta
My Hostas have been really enjoying all this rain.
Unfortunately so have the weeds.
And the mosquitoes.
Which is why I haven't dealt with the weeds.
It all makes sense, really.
Todays Bible Verse:
Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain,
and a path for the thunderstorm,
to water a land where no man lives,
a desert with no one in it,
to satisfy a desolate wasteland
and make it sprout with grass? Job 38:25-27

313/365 Electicity
It is a good thing to have a son-in-law who can change light fixtures and electrical plugs. Of course we have to feed him, but it is still a good deal.
The first plan tonight was a garden shot.... until the mosquitoes attacked en force!!
I retreated.
I think it was a good idea.
Todays scripture:
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12

312/365 In the Morning
We packed a small breakfast - coffee in a thermos for him, rooibus tea for me. Then we biked to a pretty lake close by and sat, talked and shared our little meal. It was a beautiful morning. It was quiet, the sun was shining, just the sound of the fountain and each other. Love this man!
Todays Scripture...
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation. (Psalm 5:3)

311/365 Rainbow of colours
We spent the WHOLE day painting and boy did my hands take a beating. It was not in the plans, but after removing all furniture due to flooding followed by more water, well the empty room, with a now very clean carpet, just said... "You might as well paint me and while you are at it kijiji all that furniture nobody wants anymore. "
So we did.
We even sold a car today.
The furniture is gone, the room is painted.
And we will be in bed early tonight.....
Thankful my helpmate and I work so well together. We even wallpaper together. :)

310/365 Lilies of the Field
"..... do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. ... See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." (Mathew 6:25-29)

309/365 More Rain
When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown. (Isiaah 43:2)
The skies opened up yet again.
The petunias took another beating.
The basement did NOT flood this time.
I will be with you.

you will not drown. (Isiaah 43:2)

308/365 Double-edged Sword
For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Harold tried on his new costume tonight ~ Ezio Auditore da firenze. He is heading to a Anime convention in Winnipeg. We captured some pretty cool shots. You can see them HERE.

307/365 Beauty
Your beauty should .....be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. (1Peter 3)
Lord give me a gentle and quiet spirit.

305/365 Robin
he sat there most of the morning watching the world go by...
I sat reading 1 John.... "The world and it's desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. "
