151/365 Climate Change

This is my definition of climate change.
When the temperature can change this drastically in 29 hours.....
THAT is called climate change.
And it is taking some adjustment, I tell ya.

The photo on the left was taken today. The photo on the right was taken yesterday.
Vacations need to be more than one week long.

150/365 Leaving

Had to leave today. Took this photo while waiting for our bus.

Now I am home with a sweater on and the heat cranked up, loads of laundry waiting. You know... the usual.

149/365 JOY

I have taken 229 photos today and 90 % of them are keepers. But THIS one captures the joy of this vacation with the best man in the whole world!! I love him to pieces!!!!

I am blessed beyond words!

....just a word to photographers who forget the camera attachment for their very expensive professional tripod?
Sandals (both of them) make a nice wedge for adjusting the camera perched on a stone wall. How my camera has survived this week is beyond me but it has and I am thankful. And that 12 second delay has kept me in shape!

147/365 Just Enjoying each other

That's five days of photos of the two of us. I am getting kind of stumped each evening finding new and unique photos of us. (Not to mention that my sweetheart will sit for fewer and fewer attempts each evening). So perhaps tomorrow the photo of the day just might be something different and very Mexican.

I must say, I do like this one!

146/365 Long Exposure

I think this is the first time my very patient husband has said "Okay LAST shot". But those 6 second exposures take some practice. Especially when you are stacking tables on lounge chairs to set up the camera.

Just for good measure I also got this one today, perching my camera on the back of a chair.

143/365 A long day

Love the ocean air, but boy travel is exhausting - can you tell? We have been up for 21 hrs now. Hopefully after a good nights sleep tonight tomorrow's 365 will show us much more rested.
My plan is to make all my 365 photos of us this week -a challenge for me because I forget to take photos of us. Other photos will beon the blog

There ya go and now I am going to bed to the sound of the waves.

139/365 sunset

Just got this 30 min ago on the drive home from work. It sure is nice to leave work and have the sun still up - which means we are headed towards summer and that is a good thing.
But the sunset in Saskatchewan is always beautiful any time of year. Agreed?

135/365 Potato fixins

These long weeks make getting a 365 photo very difficult. There just isn't enough time in the day to think about it let alone go get the photo. So they have been purely an 'in the moment' shot of whatever is in front of me at the time I remember to take the shot.
I took ONE photo today and this is it.

134/365 grungy highway

One of those busy days when time for planning and getting the 365 shot was at a minimum. I liked the electrical/telephone poles along the highway and Lightroom helped me grunge it up a little. It actually captured the feeling heading home after a late afternoon home visit.

133/365 January?

132/365 DIRT

Oh the weather is downright balmy, but all that melting snow and dirt makes for a sad Mazda...

131/365 The Olympic Torch

130/365 Road Trip

Isn't Saskatchewan beautiful in winter? Or this might be Alberta - okay aren't the prairies beautiful in winter?

127/365 Sushi

My husband texts me with the greatest ideas after a long day at work....especially when he knows the cupboards are bare....

I love him so........

126/365 Rat Race

Just movin' with the crowd.
So cold, so dark on the way to and on the way home.... ahhh January!

125/365 Salted Pumpkin Seeds

mmmmmm they are so good in a salad!

The best part of this shot is that I took it with my Canon Powershot in macro mode without a flash and I LOVE the detail. I am starting to figure this point and shoot out. It will never be my DSLR but it has great potential.

124/365 The Atrium

Back at work after 6 weeks away and happy to be back into normal routine. However I am lacking in time for this 365 blog. Took this while rushing to a meeting at 1 pm today. Anyone know where it is?

123/365 Mail

I really have to set aside some time to deal with this. Somewhere in that "to do"pile are our Christmas letters to family and friends. I don't even know what it costs to mail a letter these days. To the USA?
Just Do It!!

122/365 Snow

Snow in the back yard - and it is here to stay for another 4 months.
Makes me want to climb into bed for four months.

121/365 New Moon or is that a Blue Moon?

For this I pulled out the DSLR and the tripod (at 8:00 am) - the new Canon powershot just could not do it justice.
