116/365 Ticket to Ride
Every year one game takes over the dining room table when we convert from formal suppers to turkey sandwiches and clean out the fridge mode. This year it is Ticket to Ride and the guys are playing it as I type.
BTW - I shot this with my new Canon Powershot.

114/365 Merry Christmas!
Posting my 365 early today because I think it is going to be a busy day.
The stockings were all hung by the chimney with care... until Santa arrived and they were too heavy!
Enjoying our family traditions.
Now we will wait for Mark's arrival from Thompson Mb and continue the celebration together.
David and I are giving thanks for His incredible blessings this morning - but especially for His son who brings the biggest blessing of all - everlasting joy unimaginable.
May you all have a blessed Christmas day with loved ones rejoicing, contemplating and celebrating the gift of a Savior to a fallen world.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11 (NIV)
Yes a Savior has been born to you - May you worship Him as you celebrate His coming today.
Blessings and love to each and every one of you today and in 2010.

112/365 Church
My parents gave us this little church about 20 years ago - maybe longer. It has been part of our Christmas decorations every year. It quietly sits in the corner, is plugged in Dec first and is lit throughout Christmas, kind of like the family room night light, until it is put back in it's box for another 11 months.

106/365 Christmas extravaganza!
This 2 second exposure caught all the lights, but you have to experience this wonderful display of Christmas spirit in person. It comes with music. And not only the music, but the lights flash on and off and are choreographed to the music - AMAZING! For those of you in Saskatoon - Kellough Rd - and the light are off by 9 pm so get there well before then.

103/365 Angel
My son Paul made this angel in Mrs Meighan's class in grade four.
It has been on our fireplace mantle every Christmas since then.
This Christmas I will show it to Paul's daughter. Not that it will mean anything to her - but in a few years it might.

102/365 ICE
My oak windows are taking a beating from all this ice buildup.
My kitchen window. I have decided I should not do any dishes for a week - too much moisture.
No laundry either.

100/365 Fudge
Only 265 to go....sigh.
But the perfect way to celebrate photo number 100 is with fudge. My sweetheart had a hankering and so I made him some maple walnut fudge today. It turned out very well and I got a big smile from him.

99/365 Christmas Bouquet
Hard to believe I have taken a photo every day for 99 days. Not sure if that is a testament to my commitment or just plain stubbornness! Probably a little of both.
Today's photo is of a small part of a gorgeous Christmas bouquet my coworkers at Saskatoon Health Region sent me.
Thank you guys! It is on my desk as I type and I LOVE it!
More photos on the BLOG.

Playing with fire - don't tell my kids.
It was an impulsive thing - must be all the candles around here.

95/365 Goofy Star
And the last day of the 365 B&W challenge week is a goofy Christmas Star which was supposed to be the new funky lime green tree topper this year but, bad design, it's weight makes it bend the top of the tree over. Not good. Sooo it sits on the mantle and I have embellished it with those very pretty lime green grenades.

91/365 Good wine
"May our love be like good wine...... grow stronger as it grows older."
Old English ToastThat little heart on the glass is a reflection off the paper - just caught it at the right angle with the remote flash. Love how the paper is reflected in the stem too.

90/365 It's December
Continuing on with that B&W theme and considering also adding a Christmas theme this week...because on Friday my daughter is coming over to help me pull out all the decorations. It is December after all and we only get to do this once a year. Lime green here we come!!

86/365 Morning sun on old chair
.....that could use a dusting I see!
Tomorrow I will venture outside for my photo - yes I have great plans for tomorrow - I will shower and blow dry my hair, wear makeup and put my rings back on and get dressed in real clothes for the first time in five days. And I am looking forward to it! Coffee at Intermission House with my sweetheart is the plan. Then home to rest. :)

85/365 My name in Lights!
Yes, well, boredom is settling in.
I know it is because today I spelled my name in lights. You too can see your name in lights if you are lying in bed looking up at the ceiling fixture - bored, unable to move and needing a photo for the 365 blog.
Just put that camera on manual or shutter priority - s l ow 2 second shutter speed and move your camera around in the shape of the letter by the time the shutter closes.
It take a little practice.. but hey, I have time!!! Really! I have time!
My name in Lights - and this aint no ordinary bedroom ceiling fixture! It is a Schonbeck!
On to more normal photos and good news - I made it to the computer today - it took a while but here I am with two of my many fav things - my keyboard for my MAC (oh how I missed you MAC) and chocolate, courtesy of #1 son who knows how to make his mom feel better.
So today you got two (or six depending on how you look at it) photos for the price of one. Is someone paying me????

84/365 Morning Light
Taken Wednesday Morning Nov 25
Morning light coming in my bedroom window. Slow shutter and moving zoom lens.
83/365 ART
Taken Tuesday night late.
This is a metal art piece on my wall. I rotated my zoom lens into the art. Can't remember if I used the flash - don't think I did but then I can't remember much of Tuesday at all except this nagging feeling that I was supposed to take a photo.
I did grunge it up a little in Lightroom - upped the contrast and clarity - but that's all.
Cool eh?
BTW sending this from the PC laptop from bed- just got DH to bring me my card reader off the MAC and I happen to have lightroom on his pc for when we travel. Although...would love a Mac book for Christmas... :) along with several other very expensive photography related things but hey if you don't ask you for sure won't get it.
Feeling better.
Waiting for gravol to kick in.
Drugs are good.

Out of Order but still taking photos!!
For the few of you who faithfully visit daily you may have noticed that I have not posted since monday.
I headed into SCH early monday morning for surgery and am home now recuperating. (I posted mondays photo of ice minutes before I left to SCH). Yes I am a tad committed to this 365 thing. That bought me two days grace because I took Tuesday's photo late that night.
....of the bedroom art - you know, you can do funky things with a zoom and low shutter speed. Add to that the ability to do double exposures and it is amazing what you can come up with when flat on your back in a drug induced state. Wish my camera weren't so dang heavy.
My camera is, however, a welcome distraction...until I fall asleep again. So is my sweethearts laptop and wireless internet. I have read plenty of decorating magazines - mostly while waiting for surgery and I am now attempting to memorize 1 Peter chapter one since once I get my Bible set up (which is a bit of a task) I prefer not to turn the page.
I have not been able to make it down to the computer...so posting will have to wait. I very much miss my MAC!!
And now I am going to take more drugs and sleep....
please ignor/forgive spelling mistakes - there isn't any spell check showing up on the PC......

78/365 Charter House Lamp
However I bought a funky lime green ottoman which looks perfect in the family room. Maybe I will take a photo of it tomorrow.
Most of my accent pieces in our house come from Charter House - check out some of my favorites. And my lime green ottoman goes just perfectly!

76/365 Funky chair
A lunch walk to Cafe Sola. Me to wake myself up and see if there were any photo ops out there and Heather to satisfy a sweet tooth craving. Not that I showed great restraint - I had just finished a donut with my soup and bun special from Tims.
Cafe Sola is a cool place and this is where I first discovered Rooibus tea. Remember African Fog? Or shall it be Red Velvet Cape?
But THIS next photo is my shot of the day!
And the lighting was perfect!
So were the glass windows!
Have you checked out Cafe Sola?
