We have been eating most meals on the deck. It is very convenient when you have a gang seven for supper every night. The mosquitoes and the wasps have arrived - it is August after all - but we have been successfully keeping them at bay with incense... yes the backyard smells like smoky lavender. It is quite nice - we like it and the bugs don't!! win win!

The "Frozen" theme seems to be permitting our days.  They thought it would be really fun to pretend they were walking through the cold wintry forest to find their sister.
So Grandma created the winter and the forest. They thought that was pretty neat! :) They kept asking to see the before and after. :)
